I solidified my life-long love of photography in 2008 when I photographed my first concert. I fell in love with the challenge of capturing those fleeting moments that cannot be recreated.  After receiving my education at Brooks Institute of Photography, that love of photographing concerts and music grew to include families, and the joy of two people in love. In the summer of 2023, I completed my doula certification and my  passion for documenting life's fleeting moments was reborn (pun intended).

In December 2023, I found out I was pregnant. This was my third pregnancy (first two were “abnormal”) so there was A LOT of anxiety! I did everything I could to prepare for a healthy pregnancy and “easy” birthing experience, while secretly waiting for the other shoe to drop. When I finally made it to the third trimester, I allowed myself to breathe and truly experience the pregnancy. Our little Lucca was born two days after his due date and was absolutely perfect, even after a ROUGH birth (which you can read about on my blog)!

I’ve since gone back to work and am even more inspired to be in the realm of motherhood journeys and birth work.

When I'm not taking photos or in the birthing room, I'm probably out adventuring with my family,  at the theater, Disneyland, or a concert. 

Some fun facts about me!

- I love to travel, hike, and camp

-I am a bit of a Disney nerd

-I am often referred to as a human jukebox - there is always a song playing in my head...and sometimes it comes out

- I LOVE tacos and dream of becoming a food blogger one day so I can get paid to eat our favorite foods!
